Specific expertise

Raphaël’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, arbitration and industrial risk. He advises French and international clients on complex domestic and cross-border disputes, with particular expertise in private international law.

Professional career

Before joining Grenier Avocats, Raphaël trained in litigation and international arbitration at leading international law firms in Paris and Brussels. He gained experience in court proceedings through placements with the International Commercial Chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal, Division 5-16, and the Paris Commercial Court.

Raphaël is co-founder of Smartlawyer, a legal tech company dedicated to the legal profession.

He coaches the Université Paris-Dauphine PSL Master 240 team participating in the Pax Moot.

He is a member of Paris Place de Droit.

Education and training

Raphaël holds a Master 2 in European and International Business Law from Université Paris-Dauphine PSL.

He holds a Master 2 in Comparative and European Private International Law from Université Toulouse 1 Capitole, an LL.M. in Comparative and European Private International Law from the University of Dundee, and an LL.B. in English and French Law with Honours from the University of Kent.

Raphaël is fluent in French and English.
